    Hi I am a Giraffe.

    I spend most of my life standing up and don’t sleep much.

     

    We live alone with others in a group.

    Hi I am a North Atlantic Right Whale.

     

    We live in the North Atlantic Ocean.

    We can grow to be 16 metres long and weigh up to 70,000 kilos or more.

     

    I take large gulps of water to filter out my food.

     

    We are slow swimmers and are docile in nature.

     

    I live alone or in small pods and can live to be 50 to 100 years old.

    Hi I am a Sumatran Tiger.

     

    I am a rare species of Tiger and live on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.

     

    My stripes are closer together than any other tiger, which help me to blend in with the high grass.

     

    I am a meat eater.

     

    I can grow to be over 2 metres long and weigh up to 140 kilos or more.

     

    My toes are webbed which help me to swim very quickly.

     

    I live alone and can live to be 25 years old.

    Hi I am a Pangolin.

     

    We live in Africa and Asia.

     

    I am one of 8 species and either live in hollowed trees or burrows.

     

    I am the only warm blooded creature that is covered in scales.

     

    If threatened I curl up into a ball.

    We are nocturnal and mainly eat insects which I find with my long tongue.

     

    I can grow to be around 1 to 2 metres long and weigh between 3 to 30 kilos depending on my species.

     

    I can’t see very well so rely on my sense of smell and hearing.

    Hi I am a Northern Sportive Lemur.

     

    We live in Northern Madagascar.

     

    I eat mainly vegetables and some fruit.

     

    I can grow to be 53 centimetres tall and weigh less than 1 kilo making me one of the smallest species of lemur.

     

    We are nocturnal, so sleep during the day and look for food at night.

     

    I make lots of different sounds with my voice to communicate.

    We are 40 species and live in rivers and the sea.

     

    We mostly eat fish.

     

    An Orca or Killer Whale is the largest of the Dolphin species.

     

    We can grow to be up to 8 metres long and up to 3,600 kilos in weight.

     

    We are very playful, intelligent and very sociable and live in groups called a “pod”.

     

    We can live to be 60 years old.

     

    We are threatened and some of our species are endangered or critically endangered.
